Equip roles define user permissions and access levels. Understanding these roles is crucial for effective account management and security.

Understand Equip's Roles

Setting Permissions in Equip

  1. Admin Permissions:

    • When set, these apply to all admins in the system for the specific entity.

    • Options: View, Edit, Delete

  2. Mentor Permissions:

    • Apply only to mentors who: a) Have been shared the entity, or b) Support a person associated with the entity

    • Options: View, Edit, Delete

  3. Student Permissions:

    • Apply only to the specific student associated with the entity

    • Options: View, Edit, Delete

Note: Admins and mentors can set these permissions when editing entities. Each permission type (View, Edit, Delete) can be individually toggled for each role.

Remember: Granting permissions should be done thoughtfully to maintain data security and privacy.
