Below are step-by-step instructions for how to create an announcement.

Step 1: The first step in creating an announcement is locating the Announcements tab in the left-hand tool bar. To do this, select “Announce” in the navigation menu.

Step 2: If you haven’t made any announcements yet, you can click either of the “New Announcement” buttons to get started. If you’ve already sent announcements, click on the button in the top right. This button will always be visible on the announce page.

Step 3: Title your announcement. This is how the announcement will display to each user who receives it.

Step 4: Add the content of the announcement. This is where you will include all information to be sent.

Step 5: Toggle “Send Later” if you would like for your annoucnement to be released at a later date and/or time.

Step 6: If “Send Later” was selected, choose the date and time in which you would like it to be sent.

Step 7: Toggle “Attach Files” if there are any documents you would like to be included within the announcement.

Step 8: If “Attach Files” was toggled, select files from your document library or drag and drop documents into the designated box.

Step 9: Search for recipients to share the announcement with. The announcement will be visible on their Equip account, and a push notification will be delivered at the time it is sent.

Step 10: Finally, select “Create Announcement” at the bottom of the screen.

Step 11: Congratulations! You have successfully created your first Announcement! Your announcement will now be visible within the announcement Library on the left-hand toolbar. From here, you will be able to edit announcements and view read status.
