Introduction to Announcements

Learn how to use the Announcements feature to share updates with your organization. Send messages, schedule posts, and track read receipts.

Announcements are the fastest way to share important updates with your whole team or organization. Whether you’re sending a reminder, a celebration, or a time-sensitive alert, Announcements keep everyone in the loop. This feature is available to Admins and Supporters with the right permissions.


📣 Where to Find Announcements

  • Go to the Announcements tab from your left-hand menu.

  • You’ll land on the dashboard, where you can view past announcements or create new ones.


🆕 What You Can Do in Announcements

  • Send announcements to any user or group—Participants, Supporters, Admins, or a custom selection.

  • Schedule an announcement to send at a future time.

  • Attach files or links to your message.

  • Track read receipts to see who has viewed the announcement.


🔔 Who Receives Announcements?

• You can send to any individual or group you choose

• Participants see announcements on their Equip homepage and mobile view.


📜 Reviewing Past Announcements

• Filter or search announcements by date, title, or audience.

• Click into any message to view details and check read receipts.


Equip Tip: Try scheduling an announcement to go out right before a big event or reminder. It’s a powerful way to stay proactive without having to be online in the moment.
