Scheduling an Announcement

Learn how to schedule announcements. Perfect for planning reminders, updates, and time-sensitive communications in advance.

Want your announcement to go out at the perfect time? Instead of publishing immediately, Equip allows Admins to schedule announcements in advance. Great for planning reminders, updates, or time-sensitive messages!


šŸ“Start a New Announcement

  • Click Announcements from the left-side menu

  • Select + New Announcement in the top right


šŸ“ Draft Your Message

  • Enter your Title and Message

  • Choose your Audience (Participants, Supporters, or All)

  • Optional: Add any links or attachments


ā° Set a Scheduled Time

  • Click the Schedule toggle (instead of Publish Now)

  • Select the date and time you want the announcement to be sent

  • Click Schedule Announcement to confirm


āœ… Manage Scheduled Announcements

  • Your announcement will appear in the list with a ā€œScheduledā€ label

  • You can edit or cancel it anytime before it’s sent by clicking the ⋯ three dots next to it


Equip Tip: Use scheduled announcements to plan ahead—like morning reminders, weekly updates, or event countdowns. Less stress, more strategy.
