Equip has a new mobile app experience called Equip: Independence. Some organizations may continue using the older Equip: Independence Companion app until they change over.

For the new mobile experience, download the Equip app with the green background. The older Equip: Independence Companion app uses the old logo.
ā New app access
Use the new app after your Equip account admin approves the updated mobile app experience for your organization.
Use the new app when your organization has told team members or participants to move to the updated experience.
If the new app blocks access, confirm your organization has approved the new app and that the user has mobile access enabled.
ā³ Companion app access
Customers still using Equip: Independence Companion should continue using the Companion app until their organization changes over. The Companion walkthrough remains available for those users.
š Retirement date
The current Equip: Independence Companion app with the old logo will no longer be available after January 1, 2027.

Confirm the organizationās mobile app status before asking users to switch apps.
Tell users to look for the green-background app when moving to the new mobile experience.
