Event Details Report

Learn how to run the Event Details Report and understand its filters and export fields.

The Event Details Report exports event registration details into a spreadsheet. It is useful for reviewing event information alongside attendee registration data, attendance flags, event counts, and related tags in a single export.


⚙️ How it works

  1. Go to Reporting.

  2. Open the Events tab.

  3. In the Report dropdown, select Event Details.

  4. Optionally choose a Date Range, Event Type, Categories, Tags, Roles, Users, and Groups.

  5. Click Generate to export the report.

⚙️ Filters and export fields

  • Date Range filters events by date range.

  • Event Type filters events by the selected event type.

  • Categories limits the report to events in the selected categories.

  • Tags limits the report to events with the selected tags.

  • Roles filters events by the selected user roles.

  • Users limits the report to selected users.

  • Groups limits the report to selected groups.

This report exports the following fields:

  • Event - The event title.

  • Start - The event start date and time.

  • End - The event end date and time.

  • Duration - The event duration.

  • Description - The event description.

  • Max Registrants - The event registration limit.

  • Supporters Needed - The number of supporters needed for the event. The label may reflect your account’s supporter term.

  • Hosts Count - The number of hosts on the event.

  • Supporters Count - The number of supporters on the event. The label may reflect your account’s supporter term.

  • Attendees Count - The attendee count for the event.

  • Category - The event category.

  • Event Tags - The tags applied to the event.

  • Creator - The user who created the event.

  • Routined - Whether the event is connected to a routine.

  • Registered - When the attendee registration was created.

  • Attendee Name - The attendee name.

  • Attendee Email - The attendee email.

  • Attendee Type - The registration type stored on that attendee registration.

  • Attendee Tags - Tags applied to the attendee.

  • Checked In - Whether the attendee checked in.

  • Checked Out - Whether the attendee checked out.


💡 Best practices

  • Use a narrower date range when you want a more focused export.

  • Use type, category, and tag filters when you want to isolate a specific kind of event activity.

  • Use user and group filters when you want event details for a specific cohort.

  • Review registration fields and check-in fields together when validating attendance activity.


❓ FAQs

What does each row represent?
Each row represents one attendee registration on an included event.

What does the Date Range filter look at?
It filters the included events by date range.

What does Routined mean?
It shows whether the event is connected to a routine.

Why are Checked In and Checked Out shown as yes or no style values instead of timestamps?
In this report, those fields indicate whether a registration has check-in and check-out activity recorded.

Why might the Supporters fields have a different label in my account?
Equip uses your account’s supporter terminology when labeling those fields.
