Tracking employment is a powerful way to support and celebrate the real-world growth of individuals in your program. Equip’s Employment Tracking feature allows you to log work experiences, manage employer contacts, and keep detailed records of job duties, wages, and benefits—all tied directly to each participant. By organizing employment data alongside the rest of the participant’s profile, you can ensure supports stay aligned, celebrate progress over time, and make informed decisions that help each individual thrive in their job journey.

📁 Where to Find It

  • Go to the individual’s Profile

  • Select the Employment tab from the left-hand menu

  • Click New Employment to begin entering employment information

Note: if you cannot see this tab, contact the Equip team to ensure it is enabled for your account.

💼 What You Can Track

Each job entry allows you to log details such as:

  • Employer name and contact info

    • To add more information about the employer, visit the Employer page from the Equip dashboard

  • Job title

  • Description of duties

  • Start and end dates

  • Hourly wage

  • Benefits offered

  • Employment type (full time, internship, part time)

  • Supervisor Name

  • Supervisor Title

  • Supervisor Email

🔍 Why It Matters

  • Keep a complete, organized record of each participant’s work history

  • Easily review trends across time, including wage increases or job stability

  • Share accurate data for reporting, funding, or IEP/ISP reviews

  • Make more informed decisions about supports and future employment opportunities
