What are Routines?

Routines form the foundation of a productive day. With each new routine, you are forming habits in your life to create a big impact on gaining independence! Within your Routine Library, you have the ability to craft comprehensive checklists, or to-do lists, which offer step-by-step guidance for daily tasks. These carefully designed routines can be integrated into schedules via the Calendar page or shared to an individuals’ library, ensuring they are readily available whenever needed.

How Do Routines Work?

Routines in the Equip app provide detailed, step-by-step instructions to facilitate task completion, enhancing students' understanding of each activity. Students can view and check off each step as they progress through a routine. The app collects metrics on the frequency and consistency of routine completion, enabling students, mentors, and administrators to identify areas where additional support may be required. Scheduled routines can be integrated with Equip's calendar feature, providing reminders for specific days and times. The Routine Library stores all routines, offering students continuous access whenever needed.

Benefits of Routines

By incorporating routines into the Equip app, students are better equipped to manage their day-to-day activities, fostering greater independence and success in their academic and personal lives.

  • Consistency and Stability: Provides a predictable structure, which can be particularly beneficial for students who thrive on routine.

  • Skill Development: Supports the development of various skills, such as organization, time management, and task completion.
