The Equip Calendar allows users to add routines for structured scheduling and task management. Follow these steps to create, customize, and assign routines in Equip.
Adding a Routine
1. Open the Calendar
Sign in to the Equip web or mobile app.
Select Calendar from the left-hand navigation menu.
2. Start Adding a Routine
Click “Add Routine” in the top right corner.
3. Select or Create a Routine
In the Routine dropdown menu, choose one of the following:
Select a pre-created routine from your Routine Library (Skip to Step 7 if you select this option.)
Create a new routine (Continue to Step 4 if you select this option.)
4. Create a New Routine (If Selected)
Enter a title for the routine.
Choose a category from the dropdown menu (color-coded for better organization).
5. Set Routine Schedule
Select the date for when the routine should start.
Choose the start time for the routine.
Enter a description of the routine (you can include hyperlinks, phone numbers, and email addresses if needed).
6. Make the Routine Recurring (If Needed)
Toggle “Recurring Routine” if this routine will repeat.
Select the recurrence frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly).
Set an end date for the recurrence.
7. Add Routine Steps
In the New Task text box, enter the first step of the routine.
Repeat this step to add additional tasks in the correct sequence.
8. Assign the Routine to Users
Search for individual users or select a group to assign the routine to their calendars.
9. Schedule the Routine
Click “Schedule Routine” at the bottom of the screen.
🎉 Success! The routine is now visible on your calendar and the calendars of assigned users.
Best Practices for Managing Routines
✔ Use categories and color coding for better organization.
✔ Enable recurring routines for consistency in daily or weekly schedules.
✔ Attach relevant links or contact info in the description if needed.
