In Equip, a participant refers to the individual receiving support—this may be a student, client, or program member depending on your setting. Adding them to your program is the first step toward personalized planning and progress tracking.
👥 Open the Participant Library
Click Participant in the left-hand navigation menu
This opens your Participant Library, where you manage all individual profiles
➕ Add a New Participant
Click the Add Participant button in the top-right corner
Fill in the following details:
Photo (optional—can upload now or later)
Full name (*Required)
Email address (*Required) (used to log in, if access is enabled)
Date of birth
Sex
Race
Ethnicity
📧 Send or Skip the Invite until Later
Use the toggle to send an email invitation now
You can also invite the participant later if you prefer
✅ Final Step
Click Add Participant to finish
You’ll be returned to the library where you can continue adding individuals or use the Import Participants button to upload in bulk
