Sign-in issues in Equip: Independence are usually caused by organization access, user mobile access, the sign-in method, the email address, or the wrong app download.
đ± Organization access
The new app is available only after the organization approves the updated mobile app experience. An Equip account admin can request access by reaching out to the Equip team.
â Correct app
Confirm the user downloaded the new Equip app with the green background. Users who are still on the older Companion experience should continue using the old-logo Companion app until their organization changes over.
âïž Email address
Users should sign in with the same email address connected to their Equip account. If Equip cannot find the account, an administrator should confirm the email used for the invitation.
đ Sign-in method
The app follows the organizationâs configured sign-in method. A user may need to sign in with password, Google, Microsoft, or another SSO option. Users who forgot a password can use Forgot password? on the sign-in screen.
𧩠Mobile access
If the account is found but access is blocked, the organization or user may not have mobile access enabled yet. Ask the Equip account admin to review mobile access settings or contact the Equip team.
đ Connection and updates
Confirm the device has internet access.
Close and reopen the app.
Install any required update if the app prompts for one.
Try signing in again after confirming the correct app and email address.
