📊 Columns included in this report
The Group Chat Report exports one Excel worksheet named Chat Transcript.
Default columns in the export:
Group - The name of the group the message belongs to.
Chat Enabled - Whether group chat is enabled for that group.
Sent - The date and time the message was sent.
Author - The user who sent the message.
Message - The content of the chat message.
How rows are structured:
Equip creates one row per message. Messages are ordered with the newest messages first.
Note:
If you change the selected report columns before generating the export, the final Excel file may include a different subset of available columns.
💡 Best practices
Use a narrower Date Range when reviewing a specific incident, conversation window, or reporting period.
Combine Search with Groups or Users filters to reduce noise in larger exports.
Use a descriptive Report Name so the file is easier to identify later.
Remember that long conversations can produce large exports because each message is listed on its own row.
