Discharge Reasons help document why a participant is set as inactive. Editing existing discharge reasons allows your organization to keep exit data accurate, consistent, and aligned with reporting and accreditation requirements.
βοΈ Open Account Settings
Click your profile photo in the top-right corner of any page
Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu
π Go to Discharge Reason Settings
In the left-hand menu, locate the Data Properties section
Click Discharge Reasons
This opens your Discharge Reason Library
βοΈ Edit a Discharge Reason
Locate the discharge reason you want to update
Click the context menu (three dots) on the right-hand side
Select Edit Discharge Reason
β Save Your Changes
Update the name and disposition as needed
Click Update Discharge Reason to apply your changes
Updates will immediately reflect when setting participants as Inactive and in reporting
π Equip Tip: Editing a discharge reason updates it everywhere itβs used. Make changes thoughtfully to maintain clean historical data for internal reviews and accreditation.
