Waypoints help you break big goals into smaller, measurable steps. Each waypoint represents meaningful progress toward a participant’s larger goal—making it easier to track growth, celebrate wins, and stay focused on next steps.

👤 Go to Participant Profile

  • From the home page, click Participants, then select the individual whose goal you’d like to update.

  • You’ll see the participant’s profile page.

🎯 Select Goal

  • Click Goals → choose the goal you'd wish to add a waypoint to.

  • This will take you to the details of the Goal.

  • Click New Waypoint.

  • Fill in the following fields:

    • Title – Name the waypoint.

    • Status – Choose Not Started, In Progress, or Completed.

    • Target Date – Set a deadline or target date.

    • Description – Add details or context for the step.

    • Category – Assign the waypoint to an existing category (optional).

    • Measurement Type – Select how progress will be measured:

      • Date Answer – Pick a specific date.

      • Long Answer – Open text field for detailed responses.

      • Multiple Choice – Select multiple options.

      • Number Answer – Enter baseline and target numbers (toggle Higher is Better or Enable Scoring).

      • Short Answer – Small text field for quick input.

      • Single Choice – Choose one option.

✅ Save Your Changes

  • Select Create Waypoint to confirm.

  • Your new waypoint will now appear within the participant’s Goal Details list.

Equip Tip: Think of waypoints as milestones on the path to success. Each one should connect directly to the goal it supports and clearly describe what “progress” looks like.
