Progress updates help teams record what happened, capture observations, and update active question-based waypoints from one place. Routine-based waypoints are tracked separately through routine session activity, so the goal record can include both direct updates and routine completion history.

From the participant's Goals tab, open the goal you want to update.
Click Log Update.
Select the update date.
Add notes describing observations, challenges, supports provided, or outcomes.
Complete any question-based waypoints shown in the form.
Save the update.
đ Which Waypoints Appear
Only question-based waypoints marked In Progress appear in the Log Update form.
Question-based waypoints collect direct responses such as text, numbers, selected options, or ratings.
Routine-based waypoints do not appear as questions in Log Update. They are tracked by completing routine sessions.
Waypoints marked Completed, Unsuccessful, or Not Started do not appear in the progress update form.
đ Routine-Based Waypoint Progress
If a goal includes a routine-based waypoint, progress comes from the linked routine. Each routine session can count toward the waypoint when the session score meets or exceeds the waypoint's Completion Threshold (%).
Target Sessions is the total number of successful routine sessions needed. For example, if the goal is 5 successful sessions per week for 8 weeks, the target should be 40 sessions.
