The Mood Navigator in Equip allows participants (the individuals receiving support, such as students or clients) to quickly share how they’re feeling—whether they’re Excited, Happy, Okay, Sad, or Angry. This input appears in progress logs and dashboards, helping your team respond with empathy and insight.

This article explains how to manage the default Mood Navigator settings for your entire program. These settings apply across the board and do not affect mood settings at the individual participant level.

⚙️ Open Account Settings

  • Click your profile photo in the top-right corner

  • Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu

🧭 Manage Mood Navigator Settings

  • In the left-hand menu, click Mood Navigator

  • From here, you can:

    • Manage Default Settings – Enable or disable the Mood Navigator for your program

    • Enable Mood Alerts – Choose which moods will trigger an alert to staff when reported

📢 Choose Mood Alerts

  • Toggle ON any moods you want to monitor more closely (e.g., Sad, Angry, Excited)

  • When a participant selects one of these moods, Equip can alert your team for timely follow-up

✅ Save Your Changes

  • Click Save at the bottom of the page to apply your new default settings

Equip Tip: These settings define how Mood Navigator works across your program. For more personalized control, you can still adjust mood-related features in each participant’s profile or routine.
