Customization is key to maximizing the effectiveness of Mood Navigator. When moods and coping strategies feel personal and relatable, users are more likely to engage and benefit from emotional check-ins.

👥 Open the Participants List

  • From the Home screen, select Participants.

📍 Select a Participant

  • Click on the participant whose Mood Navigator you want to personalize.

🧭 Open the Mood Navigator

  • On the participant profile, scroll to or open the Mood Navigator section.

✏️ Personalize a Mood

  • Click Personalize next to the mood option you’d like to edit.

🎨 Edit Mood Details

  • Update any of the following:

    • Label / name of the mood

    • Image or icon

    • Background color

    • Message shown with the mood

💾 Save Your Changes

  • Click Save Mood.

  • Your updates will appear immediately in the participant’s Mood Navigator.

📝 Important Notes

  • Changes only apply to the selected participant’s profile.

  • If you don’t see the Personalize or edit controls, you may not have permission to manage mood options.

Equip Tip: Personalizing moods with participant-preferred language or visuals can make emotional check-ins feel safer, clearer, and more empowering—especially for participants who communicate visually or benefit from routine and consistency.
