Customization is key to maximizing the effectiveness of Mood Navigator. When moods and coping strategies feel personal and relatable, users are more likely to engage and benefit from emotional check-ins.

🛠️ Access Mood Settings

  • From the user’s Edit Profile & Settings, click Mood in the left-hand navigation.

  • This opens their Mood Navigator setup for personalization.

🎨 Personalize Moods

  • Click the Personal button next to any mood.

  • You can edit the label, color, and icon to better reflect how the user experiences that emotion.

  • Choose visuals that are intuitive and emotionally resonant.

💡 Add and Manage Coping Options

  • Click Add Coping Option to introduce a new strategy.

  • Add a title and a brief description that explains the coping mechanism clearly.

  • Use the three dots icon next to each strategy to edit or delete it as needed.

🔁 Best Practices for Customization

  • Use labels and icons that are easy to recognize and remember.

  • Update strategies regularly based on user feedback and effectiveness.

  • Make it a collaborative process—ask what works and what doesn’t.

📝 Equip Tip: Keep Mood Navigator dynamic.

As users grow, their emotional needs and coping tools will change. Revisit their setup every few months to make sure it still supports them in meaningful ways.
