Availability Only on the Calendar

Learn how to show team availability on the calendar and use Availability Only to hide scheduled events.

Availability Only helps you focus on when team members are available without the distraction of scheduled events. When you turn it on, Equip hides calendar events and shows only team availability blocks based on each team member’s saved availability settings.


⚙️ How it works

In the calendar filters, turn on Show Availability to display availability blocks for your team. Then turn on Availability Only if you want to hide scheduled events and view only availability.

You can also use Available Team Members to limit the view to specific people. If you leave that filter empty, Equip shows availability for all applicable team members.

Availability blocks are generated from each team member’s configured availability and displayed on the calendar for the selected date range.

  • Turn on Show Availability first. Availability Only works only when availability is being shown.

  • If you do not see expected availability, confirm the team member has availability configured in Equip.

  • Use this view for planning and coordination. It changes the calendar display only and does not modify any events.

What is the difference between Show Availability and Availability Only?
Show Availability adds availability blocks to the calendar alongside events. Availability Only hides events and shows only those availability blocks.

Can I use Availability Only by itself?
No. Equip only enables the Availability Only behavior when Show Availability is also turned on.

What happens if I do not choose any team members in Available Team Members?
Equip shows availability for all applicable team members.
