Need to remove an outdated or duplicate file? Equip makes it simple to delete documents from either the Document Library or a participant’s profile. Your ability to delete depends on your role and the document’s access settings.
📂 Locate the Document You Want to Delete
Go to Documents → Library for account-wide files
Or go to Participants → [Participant Name] → Documents for participant-specific files
🧾 Open the Document Options Menu
Click the three dots (⋯) next to the document
Select Delete Document from the dropdown
⚠️ Confirm Deletion
A pop-up will ask you to confirm
Click Delete to permanently remove the document from Equip
🚫 Deleted Documents Cannot Be Recovered
Once deleted, the file is removed for all users
Consider downloading a copy or archiving important files before deleting
Equip Tip: Before deleting a document, double-check who’s using it. Removing a shared file too soon can disrupt workflows or cause confusion for participants and supporters.
