Equip gives you control over how contact information is displayed for mobile users—especially for mentors and participants (the individuals receiving support, such as students or clients). You can choose whether users have the option to hide their phone numbers from the in-app directory.

⚙️ Open Account Settings

  • Click your profile photo in the top-right corner

  • Select Account Settings from the dropdown menu

📱 Adjust Mobile User Settings

  • In the left-hand menu, click Mobile App Settings

  • You’ll see two toggle options:

    • Supporter Contact Management – Allow mentors to hide their phone numbers

    • Participant Contact Management – Allow participants to hide their phone numbers

Toggling these options ON will not automatically hide phone numbers—it simply gives users the ability to choose whether or not to show their number in the app directory. If the toggles are OFF, users will not have the option to hide their contact info.

Equip Tip: Enable these settings to give users more control over their contact visibility—especially helpful in larger programs or when maintaining privacy is a top priority.
