In the Equip mobile app, the Schedule tab shows the events and routines you are registered for. Tap an event to see its details, check in, register or get directions. Tap + to create your own event with a reminder, a location and a repeat.
Participants are called Clients, Students, Residents or Explorers depending on your account type; this article says participant.
Who can do this, and where
Participants with mobile access enabled and team members can use Schedule and create events.
Events created in the app are personal events. Registration settings, check-ins, data collection and attachments are set on the web only.
The mobile app is turned on for your account by the Equip team. If participants cannot sign in to the app, ask us to enable it.
View your schedule
Open the app and tap Schedule.
Switch between Month, Week and List at the top. Upcoming shows the next two weeks.
Tap Filter to narrow by Category, Event type or All-day only.
Tap an event to open Event Details: time, location with Get Directions, description, tasks, files and documents, and the list of Registrants.
Tap Register at the top of Schedule to browse events you can sign up for.
Create an event
On Schedule, tap +.
Enter the Title, and optionally a description.
Set the Date, then Start Time and End Time, or turn on All Day.
Turn on Remind Me to get a push notification 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes or 1 hour before.
Turn on Add Location and enter at least a Name and Address; city, state and zip make it mappable.
Under Repeat, choose daily, weekly on chosen days, or monthly, and set the end date.
Team members can add Attendees. Participants cannot invite others.
Tap Save.
The event appears on your Schedule right away.
Edit or delete an event
Open the event, tap the three-dot menu, then Edit or Delete. Only the person who created the event sees these.
For a repeating event, editing asks This event only or This and all future events. Deleting from the app removes only that occurrence.
"Delete event?" warns "This event will be permanently deleted. This cannot be undone."
Limits and what the errors mean
"Title required": enter a title. "Location required": enter at least a location name and address. "Repeat settings incomplete": choose the repeat days and an end date. "Check the event time": the end time must be after the start.
In the app, only the person who created an event can edit or delete it. On the web, any team member whose Calendar permission allows editing can change it.
The app cannot set who may register, check-in settings or data collection.
Attendees can only be added when creating an event, not when editing it.
FAQ
Why is an event missing from my Schedule?
You are not registered for it. Events only appear on your Schedule once you are added by staff or you register under Register. Pull down to refresh if you were just added.
Can a participant invite someone else to their event?
No. Participants create events for themselves. Team members can add attendees when creating an event in the app.
Where do I turn reminders on or off?
In the app, open Settings and use Event Reminders and Routine Reminders. On the web, the same toggles are on the person's profile under Notifications.
Can I see who else is going?
Yes. Open the event and scroll to Registrants, which lists everyone registered and their check-in status.
How do I get directions?
Open the event and tap Get Directions under Location. This opens your maps app. It appears only when the event has a street address.
Why can I not edit an event on my calendar?
In the app, only the event's creator sees Edit and Delete. Ask the person who created it, or a team member with Calendar edit permission, to change it on the web.
